However, D’Tigers rallied and finished the first quarter on a blistering note as it ended all squared at 23-23.

The second quarter followed almost a similar trend with the Boomers having their good run and Nigeria with Obi Emegano doing fantastically well also enjoy their own good run.

However, Australia nicked that quarter as the scoreline was 43-40 at halftime.

The Boomers come out of the half in a flurry with Delly and Patty knocking down triples to stretch the lead to nine points. 49-40.

D’Tigers were very poor with their free throws and Josh Okogie missed the triple at the end of the quarter as Nigeria trail by six heading into the fourth.

The third quarter ended 58-52 in favour of Australia.

The Boomers solidified their lead in the fourth quarter as they made the most of their free throws, unlike D’Tigers who barely had a 50% conversion rate.
