PHOTOS: Travellers Stranded Along Lagos-Ibadan Road As Trailer Accident Causes Traffic Gridlock 

Lagos Ibadan expressroad is reportedly locked in a traffic logjam on Tuesday morning due to a trailer accident that occurred on long bridge after Kara area of the expressway.

According to the report posted on twitter by Punch Newspaper, it was a lone accident involving a trailer. The trailer was said to have veered off the main road and rammed into the barricade on the long bridge.

The development led to a serious traffic gridlock along the road as several commuters and travellers were left with no choice but to remain in their vehicles and hope that sanity would be restored as soon as possible.

Those who were said to be planning to hit the road immediately took a U-turn after realizing the situation on ground at the road which is believed to be one of the busiest high ways in the South West.

According to Punch report, it was gathered that the trailer driver lost control, rammed into the barricade, almost falling off the Kara Bridge.

Efforts are however being made to improve the traffic situation on the road.
