The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Anambra State has distributed sensitive materials to Nnewi North and Orumba North local government areas ahead of the rerun election scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, February 3.

It was supervised by the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Queen Elizabeth Agwu, and security operatives.

During the exercise, INEC REC said that the materials like result sheets and ballot papers were received and distributed to the affected areas

She said INEC had completed 50 percent of their work and was ready for the election while calling on the ad-hoc staff to be proactive to ensure a smooth process.

The commissioner warned politicians not to act funny in any way as the commission had deployed enough security personnel to provide safety at all the polling units.
