Lagos Street Renamed After Slain Lawyer, Bolanle Raheem

A street in Eti-Osa Council Development area of Lagos has been renamed after Barrister Bolanle Raheem, the 41 years old lawyer who was shot dead by an Assistant Superintendent Police on Sunday.

The Chairman of the council area, John Campos, issued the directive on Wednesday during a condolence visit to the deceased family.

The husband of the late lawyer, Mr Gbenga Raheem, while speaking to sympathisers, appealed for calm, saying nothing could bring back his wife.

RovingNaija News had reported that the late Raheem was shot by a cop on Christmas Day while trying to make a U-turn at the Ajah Bridge.

She was a graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.

She was the Chief Executive Officer of Croston Homes and co-founder, City Building, a real estate and property development company.

The deceased was seven months pregnant when the tragedy struck.
