You’re a criminal if you enter my car: Singer Paul Okoye tells Nigerian police

Singer Paul Okoye has sent a stern warning to Nigerian police in what appears to be a reaction to the arrest and detention of rapper Ice Prince.

Ice Prince was arrested on Friday in Lagos over allegation of abducting and assaulting a police officer.

Lagos police PRO had tweeted on Friday that Ice Prince ”was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today”.

He was reportedly being detained as at on Monday morning.

Paul Okoye, apperently not happy with the situation, said that any policeman that enters his car and tells him to drive, is a criminal or a kidnapper.

”The only reason a policeman will stop you and enter your car is just because they are looking for an avenue to negotiate for a crime you did not commit.

”As long as a police man enters my car and tells me to drive… He’s a CRIMINAL OR A KIDNAPPER.”
