PDP Crisis: Atiku Does Not Need You To Win Benue- Atiku’s Close Ally Fires Back At Ortom

The founder of Atiku 100 percent, Tanimu Kazeem, has criticized the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, over his recent comments.

According to Kazeem, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, does not need Ortom to win Benue State come 2023.

The PDP chieftain stated this while reacting to Ortom’s statement where he was quoted as saying, “to hell with Atiku.”

Ortom stated this on Sunday night when he hosted the party’s G-5 Governors comprising Nyesom Wike (Rivers); Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia); Seyi Makinde (Oyo) and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu) in Government House, Makurdi.

The governor said he would not support Atiku, who is not concerned about the continuous killings of the Benue people.

The Benue State Governor, while lamenting the killing of people in his local government last week, said, “to hell with Atiku and anyone supporting him.”

He noted that anyone supporting the presidential ambition of Atiku in 2023 is an enemy of Benue State

Reacting swiftly in a statement, Kazeem noted that Atiku would win in Benue state without Ortom support, adding that the governor has lost his political relevance in Benue state considering his bad governance leadership.

He claimed that Ortom, an ally of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, no longer commands the support of the people of Benue state despite being a governor.

“As of today, the people of Benue state are regretting voting for Ortom to be their governor,” Kazeem said.

“He is the worst governor since the creation of Benue, and he knows he can not direct the people to vote for his Choice candidate.

“He is not politically relevant like the former senate president David Mark, National PDP Chairman Sen Iyorchia Ayu, Sen Gabriel Suswam, and Senator Abba Moro.

“The people of Benue will vote massively for Atiku because of his competency.

“The people are not selfish like Governor Ortom, who feels nobody can win in Benue state without him knowingly fully well that he doesn’t have control of the people.

“This was the same Ortom who once praised Atiku for his leadership qualities, but today he is preaching against Atiku because of his selfish interest.

“Ortom is now Rivers State governor’s personal assistant because Atiku didn’t succumb to their selfish interest.”

While describing Atiku as the most qualified and experienced candidate, Kazeem said Ortom’s tribal sentiments can’t override the people’s interest considering the PDP’s presidential candidate’s antecedents.
