LP Gov’ship Candidate In Lagos, Rhodes-Vivour Loses Polling Unit 

The news from the camp of the Labour Party governorship candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has not been palatable to his supporters.

With votes coming to an end at his polling unit in Anifowoshe Ikeja, it was gathered that Rhodes-Vivour lost his unit to the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressive Congress.

While the Labour Party candidate polled 18 votes, the governor, Sanwo-Olu scored 29 votes. Olajide Adediran of the People’s Democratic Party scored just two votes in the unit.

In the House of Assembly election at the polling unit, the APC polled 34, LP 15, while PDP polled one vote.

Sanwo-Olu and Gbadebo are both slugging it out to take over the seat of government at Alausa Ikeja in May 29.

While Sanwo-Olu is contesting to renew his mandate for second term, Rhodes-Vivour is taking a first shot to prove his popularity and reinforce the capacity of Nigerian Youths in take their place in the political affairs of Nigeria.
