VIDEO: Gov. Abiodun Pays Unscheduled Visit To Filling Station, Tells Manager To Sell Fuel & Collect Old Naira Note

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has surprised a Petrol Station located in the state capital with an unscheduled visit on Wednesday morning.
The filling station which had already been besieged with a crowd of customers waiting to get fuel was said to have hoarded the fuel from the customers. It was also gathered that the attendants refused to collect old naira notes whenever they dispense fuel.
The bubble however burst on Wednesday morning after the governor paid an unscheduled visit to the centre. Having been cheered and jeered by people who had already gathered at the scene, he was informed about the situation of things at the filling station.
Immediately, Governor Abiodun sent for the manager who is a woman and ordered her to be selling fuel to customers right there.
He also instructed her to collect old naira notes from those who do not have the new notes.
Narrating the incident on his verified twitter handle immediately after the encounter, the governor wrote:
“While setting out for our campaign today, I made an unscheduled visit to a filling station that was hoarding fuel and I mandated them to sell the product to buyers and also accept the old naira notes from their customers.
The sole essence of any government is to ensure the comfort of her citizens and we would stop at nothing towards getting this achieved.”
