Victor Osimhen scored in the 29th minute to pull the Super Eagles level in their 2022 World Cup qualifying game against Cape Verde.
Dylan Tavares gave the Blue Sharks the lead in the 19th minute before Osimhen fired in the equaliser 10 minutes after.
The goal by Osimhen is his fourth in 11 international games.
With the present result at the 5,000–capacity Estádio Municipal Adérito Sena, Nigeria are on four points one better than Liberia who have three points in two games
