Niger State Seeks To Partner With Private Companies To Stimulate Development
Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger has expressed the desire to collaborate with companies that are ready to add value to the economy of the state.
A statement by his spokesperson, Mary Noel-Berje, disclosed that Bello stated this at a meeting with different interest groups on the sidelines of theTurkey-Nigeria Business Congress (TNBC) in Instanbul, Turkey.
The governor, who acknowledged that every nation desires to be better, stressed that having forums for trade or investment opportunities between nations would engender the desired growth and development.
Investors in various sectors comprising Agriculture, Health, Education, Infrastructure, mineral resources among others met with the Governor.
The CEO of the organising company, ‘Window of Turkey”, Baraa Alsasa, said Fora such as this would facilitate business between Turkey and Nigeria, offers more opportunities to boost the Nigerian economy and enhance the tourism industries of both countries.
Alsasa said the Forum was also an opportunity to bring together major stakeholders from Turkey and Nigeria to discuss ways of developing Nigeria in a mutually beneficial partnerships.
He appreciated Bello for his attention and desire to partner with the investors, assuring him that it would be a worthwhile collaboration.(NAN)
