I Created 305 Millionaires In Imo During My Tenure As Governor- Okorocha Speaks On Presidential Aspiration

As far as former governor Rochas Okorocha is concerned, the only president who can take Nigeria out of the current economic doldrums is someone who is renowned for wealth creations and he believes he is in the best position to do that.

The APC presidential aspirant and former governor of Imo state gave an insight into how he was able to create wealth for people of Imo state during his tenure as governor of the state.

Speaking on Arise TV Morning Show on Monday, Okorocha said he made about 305 millionaires while in government for eight years.

He noted that those people were made millionaires through direct and indirect labor. He empowered market women, small scale business owners, artisans and trained youths in different vocations.

Through this intervention, many people were made in Imo state and he believes that those legacies are still speaking for him till date.

Okorocha reinterated that Imo state was the fastest growing economy in Nigeria during his tenure and the evidences are there.

He however plans to replicate the same idea in Nigeria if elected president in 2023. The former governor said he is the most qualified among all the aspirants who are currently jostling for the presidential ticket of the All Progressive Congress.
