Buhari’s Aide Asks Peter Obi If He’s Able To Meet Tinubu In France After Recounting How He’s Being Impersonated In Nigeria While In Nice

Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad has thrown a funny question to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

His question is coming after the former governor of Anambra state recounted how someone claimed to have had a phone conversation with him on Tuesday in Abuja.

Narrating the incident, Peter Obi said one of his aides came to meet him on Wednesday during the court proceeding to alert him that one Prince Mustapha Audu is outside the court premises saying Obi hanged up on him when they were speaking on phone.

According to the story, Mustapha, the son of former governor of Kogi State claimed that Peter Obi called him on Tuesday and was speaking Igbo to him telling him he was in front of his (Audu’s) office in Abuja.

However, Audu claimed that Peter Obi hanged up the phone on him when he realized that he (Audu) could not respond in Igbo Language.

After the court proceeding, Peter Obi who had already instructed his aide to persuade the man to wait for him, later went out to meet him for proper discussion.

After narrating the experience to the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, he was made to know that the person who spoke to him was an impostor who tried to mimic Obi.

Peter Obi told him that he was just landing in Nice, France for a meeting at the time he was talking about. After the France meeting on Tuesday, Obi told him he flew to London to felicitate with Dele Momodu who celebrated his 63rd birthday same day.

He said he landed in Nigeria on Wednesday morning for the court matter.

Reacting to Peter Obi’s explanation, Bashir Ahmad asked him if he was able to meet with President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in France.

He asked the question on his verified twitter handle on Thursday.
