Name One Christian Who Can Draw Votes For Tinubu In N/East & N/West- Reno Omokri Throws A Challenge

Since the emergence of former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, there has been debates and argument on the possibility of having a Muslim Muslim ticket of the APC in 2023.

Tinubu won the party’s primary on Wednesday after amassing 1271 votes to defeat Rotimi Amaechi, vice president Yemi Osinbajo and other aspirants who contested in the primary.

However, the National Leader of the APC is expected to pick his running mate from the North to balance equation for the sake of equity, fairness and justice. The move is also a deliberate strategy to win massive votes from the north.

But Tinubu and the entire APC may likely face an arduous task of selecting the appropriate person that can drag the votes of the north with Atiku Abubakar who is also a strong politician from the North East.

Atiku is the candidate of the opposition PDP and he is never a push over when it comes to securing the votes of his region. As a matter of fact, he is expected to deliver the votes of the north for himself and his party since he is the only candidate from the major opposition party contesting from the North.

In the same vein, it is expected that Tinubu picks a running mate who is from the Christian extraction from the region.

Commenting on this development on his verified twitter handle, Reno Omokri, the former spokesperson to the former president Goodluck Jonathan explained how impossible it will be for APC to get a Christian who can draw votes from the North East and Northwest for Tinubu. He challenged anyone to name that person.

It is now left for APC and Tinubu to prove Omokri wrong with this assertion.
