2023: Kwankwaso Reveals What Igbo People Will Do If Peter Obi Agrees To Be His Running Mate

The coast surrounding the possibility of a merger between the candidate of Labour Party, Dr Peter Obi and that of New Nigerian People’s Party, Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso appears to be clearing with the latest revelation from the NNPP Flagbearer.

Kwakwanso and Obi have been widely rumoured to be planning a merger in order to provide a united and verile front to tackle the candidates of the two dominant parties in Nigeria, APC and PDP.

In the last fourty eight hours, there has been a circulating report on various news platforms that the two politicians are speaking on the possibility of forming alliance with either Obi to be the presidential candidate while Kwankwaso to be the running mate or vice versa.

Kwakwanso was however said to have denied the reports, saying he is more experienced than the former governor of Anambra state to be his running mate.

In a latest report released by Daily Post on Sunday, the former governor of Kaduna state revealed what the Southeast people would do if Peter Obi agrees to be his running mate.

According to the renowned politician who spoke during the inauguration of his campaign office in Gombe State, Igbo people will never agree to that arrangement if the Labour Party Presidential candidate agrees to be his vice presidential candidate.

He said Peter Obi presents a rare opportunity for the southeast people to have a hope of producing the next president of Nigeria. He noted that such an opportunity comes once in a lifetime.

Now that they have it, they will never want to let it slip from them for any reason.

Kwakwanso ruled the possibility of Peter Obi agreeing to be his running mate because of what Igbo people will do.
