Wike Has A Lot To Offer For The Unity Of The Country – Umahi Urges Tinubu To Integrate Wike In His Govt.

Ebonyi State governor, Dave Umahi has urged the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to integrate the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike in his government when he fully takes over as president of Nigeria.

Umahi made the statement on Monday while speaking at a commissioning event in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Wike, who fell out with the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar since the conclusion of party primary in May last year, refused to work with the former vice president at the election.

During the presidential election, he reportedly worked for the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who later won the election.

As Tinubu continues to preach the gospel of National unity under his tenure when it finally kicks off, Umahi has urged the president-elect to consider Wike for a job in his (Tinubu’s) government.

The Governor called on Tinubu to integrate Wike into his government,  arguing that the Rivers leader has “a lot to offer for the unity of the country”.
