It was a dramatic scene at the Ladoke Akintoke University of Technology when an alumnus of the institution returned to the school with his certificate and demanded for the refund of his school fees.
In a video shared on social media by Tribune Online, the young man whose face was not very clear due to the nature of the ambiance was seen at the reception darting forth and back and creating unfriendly scene at the hall.
Despite the presence of the school security officers who were invited to pacify the angry man, he was threatening fire and brimstone while attempting to hand over the certificate in his hand to the receptionist.
According to the report on The Nigerian Tribune, the man was said to have graduated from the school but claimed to be suffering apparently due to his inability to secure an employment offer with the certificate.
The man who spoke in Yoruba was heard saying that the school should take their certificate and refund his money. He said he doesn’t need the certificate again after many years of graduation without being able to secure a job with the certificate.
The video which was posted by the Nigerian Tribune on its verified twitter handle has been trending on social media.
