What Yahaya Bello Said When Asked What He Will Tell The Youths Who Are Angry At APC Govt.
To say that many Nigerian youths are not happy with the current administration of the All Progressive Congress is an understatement.
Since the EndSars campaign was initiated in 2020, the youths have seen reasons to be more passionate about how their affairs are being managed and what the future really holds for them under this government.
With many of them now at home due to the ongoing ASUU Strike, their agitation to make a difference in the 2023 general election has become louder than ever before.
On Monday, the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello who has just been appointed as the National Youths Coordinator of Tinubu Shettima’s Campaign Council was specifically grilled on what he will tell the Youths and how he will convince them that bringing an APC candidate back to power is the only solution to the country’s problem.
While responding to the question, Governor Bello said it is easy to deliver the message to the youths. According to the governor, the Nigerian youths know those who have jeopardized their future. They know the people who made them to be at home due to ASUU Strike.
He explained that he will tell them those people are not president Muhammadu Buhari. They are not Bola Ahmed Tinubu or Kashim Shettima who are seeking for election to lead Nigeria in 2023.
He disclosed that by the time he told them those who are responsible for the current economic, educational and security problems plaguing the country, the youths will understand.
He said relating to the youths and passing his message across to them cannot be a problem for him because he has built a lasting relationship with them over the years.
He described his government in Kogi State as Youths friendly and noted that he is going to leverage on that to preach the gospel of Bola Tinubu to the youths and convince them that neither him (Tinubu) nor APC is the problem.
The governor was confident that the Youths will listen to him and accept his message.
