SAD! Late Nabeeha Bags 1st Class As ABU Fixes Convocation For Jan. 27

Nabeeha Al-Kadriyah, the young lady who was kidnapped alongside her family and killed by bandits a week ago has been confirmed to be a first class graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

This was disclosed by her uncle, Sherifdeen who said the lady would have been awarded at the school’s convocation slated for January 27.

He also said the release of Nabeeha’s remaining sisters late Saturday evoked bittersweet memories for the family.

He said, “You can imagine such a feeling if she had been alive to witness the convocation. However, the situation has further strengthened our faith in Almighty Allah.

“We thank all those that stood by us during this trying period.”

He added that, “I was the one who went to claim the body of the late Nabeeha. She was brutally murdered and her sister, Najeeba, was forced to see her brutal corpse to traumatise her and others for us to quickly pay the ransom.’’

When newsmen visited their residence on Sokoto Road, Okekere, Ilọrin, Kwara State, it was observed that the family was still receiving visitors who came to rejoice with them following the girls’ release.

The family, however, contradicted the police, saying that no ransom was paid before the release of the girls.
