Reason Peter Obi & I Have More Support From The Youths Than The Older Candidates – Baba-Ahmed

The vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed has revealed the reasons Peter Obi is gaining more grounds with the younger generation than the older ones.

The former Senator representing Kaduna Central revealed this while featuring on Channels TV special Interviews on Monday.

According to him, Peter Obi is 61 while he is 53. Both he and Obi are more in tune with the younger generation than those in their 80s. He claimed that they understand the language of the youths and feel their pulse.

Baba-Ahmed noted that whatever happens in Nigeria today, all of them including Peter Obi will be part of the repercussion in years to come and that is why it is important to fix the nation so it can he conducive for everyone to live in.

He said those who are in their 80s have a few decade more to spend before their time is over. They don’t understand what is happening to the Youths any longer.

They have been detached from the present generation and even if they are given the opportunity to rule again, they will obviously govern the country in line with their experience which is no longer in vogue.

Baba-Ahmed posited that Youths are comfortable and confident in their ability than those who are far older and have a few decades more to leave.

He stated this on Channels TV’s Political Paradigm programme.
