Missing Children: Where Are Their Mothers?
The Nigerian Police is looking for the mother of a young girl who was found wandering about on the streets of Lagos by a good Samaritan.
RovingNaija gathered that she was found wandering during the week in Idimu area of the state. She claims to hail from Okpitumo in Ebonyi State.
According to a tweet by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the girl gave her parents’ names as Onyedikachi Friday and Akpara Friday.
He called on members of the public to share this information to reach persons who may know her or any member of her family.
In a related development, the Lagos State Police Command has taken into safe custody a baby dumped by her mother in Lagos.
The innocent infant was found by a commuter who set out for work at about 4:30am on Friday and heard the cry of a baby under a parked bus somewhere in Mile 12 , Ketu area of Lagos State.
Police officers from Ketu Police Division, were alerted, and they have taken the healthy baby girl into safe custody as investigation has commenced according to the PPRO.
