After We Had Our First Physical Meeting, She Asked Me Out- Visually Impaired Man Shares Love Experience
A 29-year-old visually impaired graduate, Demola Adeleke, who recently got married, shared his story and how he got married with Temitope Adetunji of the Punch Newspaper despite losing his sight as a teenager.
Demola Adeleke, a native of Oyo State who studies mass communication at the University of Nsukka, made it known that he lost his sight when he was 16 years old, which caused him to drop out of school but later continue after four years of sitting at home.
He revealed that the Oyo State government employed him as a teacher after graduation, and he was able to teach the secondary school students Lit-in-English, although he did have some challenges, especially when marking the student script, as someone needed to read for him in order to award their marks, and the number of students was about 500. However, teaching them was not difficult, as there are materials he normally uses.
Demola Adeleke recalled how his caring and passionate wife sent a friend request message to him on social media, and they became friends. After their first physical meeting, she asked if he thought they could be dating, and even though he was not sure about having a totally committed relationship at the time, he accepted, and that’s how their relationship journey started. They grew in love and got married when they felt it was the right time.
