I Can Go To Any Length To Support Tinubu – Yoruba Actor Explains Reason For Going Naked To Pray At The Beach 

Yoruba actor, Ebun Oloyede, popularly known as Olaiya Igwe has given reasons why he chose to pray stark nude for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

This is coming days after he posted a video of himself in a beach offering prayer for the success of the APC candidate. 

In a TV interview on the breakfast programme, Olaiya, who was unapologetic, gave reasons for his actions. 

Speaking on the show, which was aired live, Olaiya said that Tinubu has done a lot in his life and he has repeatedly said it in some of his interviews. Giving reasons why he posted the video, the actor said that he was acting on divine instruction. 

“I was asked to stand up and go and do it spiritually. I have a gift of revelation by the Almighty God. At times, I see what God plans for me ahead before it happens. I was sleeping that day and the voice came to me and said please stand up. You said you love Asiwaju and he has been assisting you. Stand up go and do this, this and this for him. 

“I am an artiste but a bit of a politician. But professionally, I am an artiste. So, I said ok, as an artiste, I can do it, but I should think about my immediate family. I want to tell you something. I can do anything to support Asiwaju, as long as I believe that this thing has nothing to do with any other person. I can do it to any length,” he said. 

He further stated that he deliberately recorded it for people to see. 

“I did it deliberately and I have no cause to regret. when I was in university, they taught us one subject. They call it individual differences under Mass Communication. As long as I’m doing what I’m doing and I believe that thing can not affect any other person, I think I have the freedom,” he added.
