The Nigerian Army has taken a giant leap into the new year with the recent commissioning of the Land Forces Simulation Centre Nigeria, LFSCN.
The masterpiece project located in Giri-Abuja was inaugurated on Tuesday by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General faruk Yahaya. The Army Chief also used the occasion to declare the first quarter 2023 simulation workshop open.
While addressing the gathering, General Yahaya appreciated the leadership of the Centre for crafting a suitable theme for the workshop that is much in line with the cardinals of his vision to transform the Nigerian Army.
The COAS reiterated that simulation training with the use of technologies was a veritable enabler for preparing Nigerian Army personnel for current and future operational challenges.
It could be recalled that LFSCN was established in March 2019 to enhance the operational readiness of the Nigerian Army using simulation technologies.
