Again, Container Falls Off A Trailer In Lagos 48-Hours After Train-BRT Accident

Report reaching Rovingnaija indicates that a 40-foot container fell off a trailer on Friday morning in Lagos.

The incident happened at Demurin junction inwards Mile 12, along the ever busy Ikorodu express road.

The development is coming less than 48 hours after a train crushed a fully loaded BRT bus conveying staff of the Lagos State government to the office on Thursday.

At least, six people have been confirmed dead in the train accident while several others werr critically injured and are currently receiving treatment at the state University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH.

However, no casualty has been confirmed in the Friday incident. 

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority made this known on its verified Twitter handle.

According to LASTMA, efforts are being made to tow the container away and no reported casualties.
