Wake From Your Slumber & Vote For Candidate Of your Choice- Tinubu’s Daughter Tells Lagosians 

Folashade Ojo, the daughter of Nigerian president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has charged Lagos residents to wake up from their slumber and vote overwhelmingly for the candidate of their choice in the forthcoming Governorship election slated for Saturday.

Folashade Ojo is the Iya-oloja general of Lagos. While addressing the market women recently, she used her position to charge them on the need to exercise their voting rights on Saturday instead of sleeping at home.

According to her, it is disappointing to have over seven million registered voters in Lagos with PVC’s but the number of people who came out to vote were less than two million.

The Iya-loja general, who spoke in Yoruba language, lamented that some people’s children decided to be playing football on the presidential election day instead of going out to vote.

She reminded them that they are playing with their future if they should allow such incident to repeat itself on Saturday.

She said: “Wake up from your slumber and vote for candidate of your choice.”

Her charge is coming in the wake of the tension and uncertainty that is trailing the re-election bid of the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Sanwo-Olu is currently contending with two strong contenders from the Labour party and People’s Democratic Party.
