26-Year Old House Of Assembly Member-elect, Rukayat Shittu Visits Kwara 1st Lady 

Since the emergence of 26-year old Rukayat Shittu as a member-elect of the Kwara State House of Assembly, political discussions in Nigeria especially among the youths has taken a different narrative.

Against all odds, Rukayat proved that age or gender can never be a limitation to what one intends to achieve in life as she defeated older and more experienced politicians who contested against her in the last Saturday governorship and states Houses of Assembly election.

She will be representing Owode-Onire Constituency in the state legislative arm.

She is the youngest politician to have attained that level in Kwara state and she is currently being celebrated across the country.

In an appreciation move, the young lady decided to visit the first lady of Kwara state, Ambassador Olufolake Abdulrasaq to thank her for her support.

Rukayat made this known on her twitter page on Wednesday.

She said: “After our victory at the Saturday poll, I made a thank you visit to Her Excellency, The First Lady of Kwara State, Ambassador Olufolake AbdulRazaq

“It was a warm reception, I used the avenue to extend my sincere gratitude for her massive support and love towards my emergence at the poll, while she also advised me to make use of the rare opportunity judiciously.”

Her tweet has attracted positive reactions from her followers.
