I Avoid Arise TV Interview Because Of You & I Told Abati When He Invited Me- Ayo Fayose Tells Rufai

Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose gave Arise TV Morning Show co- Anchor, Rufai Oseni a bloody nose on Thursday during the breakfast programme.

Fayose was on the live programme to do a general assessment of the just concluded general elections in Nigeria and what he feels should have been done better by the Independent National Electoral Commission, politicians, police and the citizens.

Trouble however started when Rufai asked Fayose how he was secretly recorded while making an inappropriate comment and how he supported Tinubu for president against Atiku Abubakar who was the presidential candidate of his party, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

Responding to the statement by Rufai, Fayose told him he is found of attacking people’s personality instead of dealing with the issues.

He reminded Rufai how he was recorded when he was harrasing police in the public. He said Rufai is guilty is of what he accused people of doing. He told him he needs to live above board if he must be in a position to criticize politicians on air.

According to him, he has always been avoiding Arise TV interviews because of Rufai.

He said: “I avoid Arise TV interview because of you and I told Abati when he invited me.”

He said Abati promised he would moderate the interview and that was the reason he came this morning.
