Festus Keyamo Reacts To Claim That Peter Obi Deleted His PDP Resignation Tweet
The Nigerian Minister of Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has lambasted the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi for deleting his resignation letter from the People’s Democratic Party, which was posted on twitter.
A tweeter user with the name, Imran Mohammed had tweeted on his page that the former governor of Anambra State deleted his resignation tweet on Tuesday.
He wrote: “Peter Obi already deleted his PDP Resignation Tweet but Internet always remember, who has the screenshot?”
He also uploaded the picture of the official resignation letter signed by the Labour Party candidate saying the internet does not forget.
Reacting to the tweet, Festus Keyamo who is the Chief spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress presidential campaign council expressed his surprise and asked if Obi is actually the new breed Nigerians are celebrating.
Keyamo, who made this known on his verified twitter handle disclosed that people can now relate this to the lame denial of ‘Yes daddy’ audio.
He wrote: “Are you serious? He deleted it? OMG! As deceitful as that? Is this the man that wanted to be President? The ‘new breed’? Oh, no! This is so cheap and disappointing! Those who classified him a ‘conman’ were not wrong after all. Now, we can relate this to the lame denial of the ‘yes-daddy’ audio!”
It is believed that Peter Obi must have deleted the post because of the controversy generated by the petition of the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the last election, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, aka, Jandor, who has gone to court to challenge the eligibility of the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour to stand in the last Lagos election as candidate.
Olajire claims that Rhodes-Vivour was still a bonafide card carrying member and deputy Governorship candidate of the PDP at the time he claims he joined the Labour Party.
