Dino Melaye Hits Social Media With Recent Picture, Insists He Can Fix Kogi

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye has again stirred reactions on social media after posting his recent picture.

The senator has been in the news in the last one week following his victory at the party’s governorship primary election in the state.

He won the party ticket to contest the post of Governor in the state in the election that will be coming up later in the year.

Before the primary election that produced him, Melaye has been stirring controversies in the media over the brickbats between him and the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

Wike had ruled out Dino Melaye in the contest for the Lord Luggard Government House. Governor Wike, while speaking to newsmen some days ago said: “To be govenor is not about acting drama on television.”

He disclosed that the former senator who represented Kogi West Senatorial District does not have the capacity, character and other qualities needed to be govenor.

Responding to the outburst, Melaye said Wike is against him because he (Melaye) refused to support him for his vice presidential ambition.

Wike has however vowed not to support Dino Melaye if he won the party primary because his emergence will amount to a waste of ticket for PDP in Kogi State.

On Wednesday morning, Dino Melaye posted a recently taken picture on his verified twitter handle and wrote on it:  “I can fix Kogi.”

The post has however been generating reactions from his followers.
