Tinubu’s Daughter, Folashade Reveals She Observes Hajj To Pray For Her Father

Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, Daughter of Nigerian president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has confirmed her reason for attending this year’s lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

Folashade, who is the Iya-oloja general of Lagos is in the holy city like every other Muslim faithful to observe the annual prayer that ushers in the Eid-Fitri celebration.

Posting her video while praying on her twitter page on Thursday morning, the businesswoman noted that she was in Mecca not only to pray for her father, his running mate, Kashim Shettima but also to pray for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

She wrote: “I observed Hajj this year to specially pray for my darling father, the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima and ultimately for the progress of Nigeria as a sovereign nation.

“God bless Nigeria .”

Folashade has been very passionate about the forthcoming administration of her father, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. She is one of the people who believes that the former governor of Lagos can turn things around in Nigeria just as he did in Lagos between 1999 and 2007 when he was in the helm of affairs.

She is however of the opinion the President-Elect needs not only the co-operation of everyone to succeed in the National assignment but also prayer to achieve his set objectives.
