Nigerian musician Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, has passed away at the age of 27.
The former Marlian Records signee was confirmed dead on Tuesday, and it has left the music industry in deep mourning.
The distressing news was shared by music executive Ovie on his social media platform, #Ovieo, Tuesday evening.
He tweeted, “Confirmed. MohBad is dead. Sad, sad day.”
Furthermore, Nigerian rapper Olamide Adedeji, popularly referred to as Olamide, expressed his grief with a cryptic message on his social media handle.
He posted, “Damn! Mohbad (sic)” and in another tweet, he wrote, “This life (sic).”
Shortly after the news of MohBad’s passing emerged, an old video featuring Bella Shmurda surfaced online.
In the video, Bella Shmurda can be heard discussing MohBad’s recent battle with mental health issues, adding another layer of tragedy to the artist’s untimely demise.
