Fish Out killers of Labour Party Chieftain – Governor Otti Directs Security Agents

The Governor of Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti has condemned in strong terms the killing of a Chieftain of the Labour Party, Mr. Maduka Zakari, at Uturu, in Isuikwuato LGA of the State by yet to be identified assailants.

Governor Otti described the gruesome murder of Mr. Zakari who was beheaded by his killers as insane, barbaric and vicious, and called on security agents from different security agencies to swing into action and ensure that whoever was involved in the killing, directly or indirectly is brought to justice and made to pay heavily for their ungodly action.

The state Chief Executive restated his commitment to ensure absolute protection of life and property in Abia state in particular and South East in general, which necessitated the recent launch of a joint security Taskforce codenamed “Operation Crush”, an initiative which has led to serious reduction criminal activities in the state, especially kidnapping at Lokpanta part of the state.

Governor Otti aassured that security agents would sustain a robust onslaught on those who desire to build a criminal enclave in any part of Abia state.
Meanwhile, as part of his drive to change the landscape of Abia, especially, Aba, the commercial hub of the South East, Gov Otti will today, Friday, commission three newly reconstructed roads. They are Emelogu Street, Shalom Way and Cemetery Road, all reconstructed within his 100 days in office.
