Dele Momodu Shares Atiku’s Response After Asking Him If He Truly Forged His WAEC Certificate

Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu seems to have set the record straight with the response he received from the former Nigeria’s Vice president, Atiku Abubakar over the controversies bothering on his WAEC certificate.

Atiku has been making the news headlines in the last 24 hours following the discovery of strange name in his WAEC result.

The former vice president who is generally known as Atiku Abubakar was quoted to have had “Sadiq” Abubakar on his SSCE result. The discovery has elicited reactions on social media as many people especially from the opposition party claimed that he forged the certificate.

The development is coming on the heels of his decision to dig into the root of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Chicago State University’s certificate which has been a subject of public debate and discussion in the last one week.

Commenting on allegation of forged WAEC certificate by Atiku, Dele Momodu who is a close ally of the former vice president said he was bombarded by APC busybodies who wanted to know if Atiku too is actually involved in certificate forgery.

According to him, he forwarded the question and agitation to the 2023 PDP presidential candidate and he got the appropriate response.

“The APC busybodies have been bombarding me with allegations of forgery against my Principal, ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR (GCON) which I immediately forwarded to him and here is his copious response: “Yes I used Sadiq Abubakar to sit for my WAEC and after passing my exams I went to swear an affidavit to say I am the same person as ATIKU Abubakar. I went to ABU as Atiku Abuakar and passed my Exams as Atiku Abubakar. Interviewed as Atiku Abubakar by the Federal Civil Service Commission and hired into the Customs Service as Atiku Abubakar. So where is forgery there?” – ATIKU ABUBAKAR
