The Plateau State Police Command has announced the successful recovery of a stolen Toyota Hiace Bus, which was reported missing on 16th of September 2024.
According to a statement from the state police spokesman, upon receiving report of the missing vehicle, operatives attached to Bukuru Division immediately swung into action, executing stop and search operations within the area. Consequently, the vehicle was recovered in the possession of one Kabiru Mohammed, male of Sabon Gari Narabi Toro LGA of Bauchi State on 18th September 2024 at about 0045hrs.
“The suspect is currently in our custody providing us with useful information that will lead further recoveries, upon conclusion of our investigation the suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.
The Plateau State Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Olugbemiga Adesina psc, is committed to ensuring the safety of lives and properties within the state, hence he would not condone any act that could truncate the fragile peace on the Plateau.
The Police Boss is also calling on the general public to always provide the police and other security agencies with useful, timely and accurate information that could enable us serve you better and aid our operation on Plateau”, the statement said.
