It’s Unfortunate Some Pastors Have Used God’s Name To Mislead Their Followers- Festus Keyamo
The Chief spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo has berrated the devisive roles some spiritual leaders have played in the recently concluded general election in Nigeria.
The Minister of Labour and Employment gave this expression while recounting how a particular Reverend Father won a governorship election in his state despite a prophecy from another man of God who said the opposition candidate will win the election.
According to Festus Keyamo, the pastor with a large congregation in Abuja supported the opponent of a Reverend Father and the Father still won the election.
He asked if they are actually serving different Gods.
Writing on his verified twitter account, Keyamo said: “It is unfortunate that some pastors have used God’s name to mislead their adherents.”
He disclosed that it is done for a selfish reason.
“It is unfortunate that some Pastors have used God’s name to mislead their adherents for selfish reasons. A Pastor with a large congregation in Abuja supported the opponent of a Rev. Father for Gov in his State & the Rev. Father triumphed over him. Are they serving different Gods?” He wrote on twitter.
