PHOTOS: Certified Graduate Of Law- Amaechi Celebrates After Getting Law Degree From Baze University
Former Governor of Rivers State and immediate past minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi is currently basking in the euphoria of joy following his graduation from Baze University, Abuja.
Amaechi is one of the hundreds of graduands who were convocated as fresh graduate from the university on Saturday.
The former governor of Rivers State, while writing on his verified twitter handle on Saturday, described himself as a certified Graduate of Law.
He wrote: “Convocation, Certified Graduate of Law”.
He further splashed the statement with his pictures taken from the event.
The former Transport minister was among the 504 students who graduated from the institution in various fields of study.
According to the authorities of Baze University, the graduands did not only pass their examinations successfully but were also found worthy in learning and character by the school, hence their graduation.
They were awarded their various certificates at the 9th Convocation Ceremony of the school.
Amaechi, a former speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, studied English at the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State and graduated in the late 80s.
With his LLB degree, Amaechi has now joined the number of Rivers Governors that are lawyers. The first was his cousin, Sir Barr Celestine Omehia, who ruled the state from May 29, 2007, to October 25, 2007, and then, Chief Barr Nyesom Wike, the incumbent governor since May 29, 2015 till date.
