If You Are Not Satisfied With 2023 Election Results, Wait For 2027- Smart Adeyemi Tells Aggrieved Politicians 

Former Senator who represented Kogi West Senatorial District in the 9th Assembly, Smart Adeyemi has advised aggrieved politicians challenging the outcome of the 2023 elections to wait for 2027.

The veteran journalist stated this while appearing on Thursday edition of Channels TV’s Politics Today. 

According to him, the 2023 election is the most credible, transparent and best election ever conducted since the return of democracy in 1999.

He revealed that there will always be skirmishes in the conduct of any election no matter how much the electoral body tries to make it perfect.

The senator said no Election is perfect even in the developed countries but considering the conduct of this year’s election in relations to the previous ones, it is the most credible and best the country has ever witnessed.

He therefore asked those who are not satisfied with the outcome to wait till 2027.

His statement has triggered an outrage on social media.
