To Be Governor Is Not About Acting Drama On TV, You Don’t Have What It Takes – Wike Roasts Dino Melaye

Dino Melaye’s Governorship ambition in Kogi State has suffered an early setback with the open attack launched by his colleague in the People’s Democratic Party and Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

Wike, in a press briefing with journalists on Tuesday, chided the former Kogi West senator over his move to vie for the PDP ticket and contest the forthcoming governorship election in Kogi State.

According to Wike, Dino Melaye does not have what it takes to be governor and if given the ticket to contest, it means the PDP has just wasted its ticket in Kogi State.

He said: “To be governor is not about acting drama on TV, Dino Melaye does not have what it takes to be Governor.”

He cautioned PDP not to make a mistake by giving the former federal Lawmaker the ticket or it will regret it.

“If you give Dino the governorship ticket, you know he will fail; there is no way he can win. Why will Kogi people say they would vote for a candidate like Dino?

“People can’t vote for Dino because he is from Kogi; Dino does not have what it takes to govern the state or be a governor. It’s not by coming on television to act drama or insult Wike.” He said.
