I’m Not A Militant, I’m An Agitator, A Freedom Fighter- Rivers NRM Gov’ship Candidate Fires Back At Rufai Oseni

The governorship candidate of the National Rescue Movement in Rivers State, Sobomabo Jackrich has set the record straight with Arise TV Morning Show anchors on Tuesday about his past activities in the state.

Jackrich was on air to give insight into what the people of the state should expect from him if he wins the election and becomes the governor of the state.

While drilling him on his past activities and how the politician had been leading social unrests within the state before now, Rufai Oseni told him he has been a militant and there are speculation he would disrupt the peace of the state if the election didn’t go his way on Saturday.

Oseni reminded him of some of the protests and distruptive activities he had organised in Rivers State on several occasions and how he intends to convince the voters he has turned a new leaf.

Responding to the question, the governorship candidate cautioned Rufai not to describe him as a militant. He said he is a freedom fighter and he has never been involved in the disruption of the peace of Rivers State before now.

He practically lectured the Arise TV journalist on what he termed the real difference between a militant and a freedom fighter.

He said: “I’m not a militant, I’m a freedom fighter.”

Jackrich further explained that all the allegations levelled against him are mere baits by the opposition to get him out of the way.

He said:”Rape allegations levelled against me are only a bait used by the opposition to get me out of the way of the governorship election. I am not an ex-militant but an activist fighting for genuine change “
